Occupational therapy includes structuring of some routine activities (daily activities, working activities, games and leisure). Occupational therapist evaluates child's fine motor function, environment and level of independence (physical and during daily) life activities, chooses occupational therapy methods, provides qualified occupational therapy services, applies orthopedic and technical tools and trains how to use them.
Occupational therapist works independently and/or in a team collaborating with other specialists at the institution, participates in children's team discussions and in setting up individual habilitation programs.
Individualized occupational therapy program is set up after each child has been evaluated. Efficiency of the program is also evaluated.
