Art therapist

dailes_terArt therapist evaluates child's drawing, communication, cognitive and motor skills, uses special methods to eliminate or diminish disorders. Art therapist makes decision which methods of evaluation to choose, selects appropriate methods and methodology for educational development, considering child's age, level of development and general health condition, designs individual educational-habilitation programs, evaluates their efficiency and makes necessary corrections later.
dailes_ter_3Art therapist consults group's educators, parents, staff working with children regarding development of children's artistic abilities and drawing skills. Art therapist works independently and/or in a team collaborating with other institution's specialists, takes part in a child's team discussions and in designing of individual habilitation programs. Sets up goals, frequency and duration of art sessions
In habilitation department art therapist provides services for children referred by doctors.
In the Nursery department art therapist evaluates every child, designs programs for art education and art therapy, decides about necessity and frequency of individual and group sessions
dailes_terap_2After child's evaluation art therapist discusses his condition with specialists' team and parents (if child is inpatient) or with group's preceptors (if child lives in the Nursery).
Specialists' team designs individualized habilitation/educational program for children which includes goals, tasks, frequency and duration of art therapy sessions.
